Initial appointments typically take an hour, which includes paperwork, assessment and an initial treatment. Follow up treatments are 30-90 minutes depending on what is being treated.
We will discuss the reason for your visit and go through your past and present medical history. After an assessment, treatment will be carried out and aftercare advice will be provided.
If you have a diagnosed condition, please bring any relevant medical notes or x-rays with you, as this will help with the assessment.
Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes and bring shorts with you for your treatment. Women should wear a normal bra which unfastens at the back, as this makes it easier when treating the back. If you have a running related or lower limb injury, please bring your sports shoes.
Treatment should be avoided if you are feeling unwell. Sports massage can be taxing on the body, therefore it is best that you are healthy when attending. If you have had diarrhoea/vomiting within the last 72 hours, have a fever, have a contagious disease or generally feel under the weather, please rearrange your appointment.
Payment is made at the end of each session via cash or credit/debit card. BACS payments can be accepted if cash/card are not possible.
Missed appointments and appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at 50% of the rate for the type of appointment booked.
Please use the online appointment booking system, which is accessible via the home page. If you would like an appointment outside the times advertised, please get in touch, as there may be other timeslots available.
